Kevin MacCauley has been named to Coach and Athletic Director Magazine’s 2018 40 Under 40 List. It honors outstanding individuals making their marks in the sports industry by demonstrating outstanding involvement, innovation and commitment. He is chief executive officer and founder of Upper Hand Inc.
During his experience as a Little League coach, MacCauley became empowered to provide a better solution for sport organizations and fitness facilities to escape the administrative vortex and focus more on training athletes. He combined his extensive sports background and entrepreneurial spirit to launch Upper Hand in 2011.
MacCauley has revolutionized the way sport professionals conduct business with Upper Hand. Under his leadership, the cloud-based mobile platform that houses a suite of online tools – such as online scheduling and registration, point-of-sale, automated marketing and more – has helped sports businesses and fitness facilities of all sizes stay relevant in the rapidly-advancing online world. Upper Hand is also the industry’s first business intelligence reporting solution and recently launched APEX, which is a revolutionary multi-sport video analysis platform for sports, fitness and performance activities.
MacCauley will be honored at the National High School Athletic Coaches Association National Convention as well as recognized in the July/August 2018 issue of Coach and Athletic Director Magazine.
