If you run a sports facility, your website isn’t just an online presence—it’s your registration hub, your digital front desk, and often your first impression.
As we close out 2025, we are taking a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year at Upper Hand and to share how those wins translated into smoother operations, smarter workflows, and more efficient growth for the businesses we serve.
This year was focused on progress that mattered. Many of the features and enhancements released in 2025 came directly from conversations with our customers, support requests, and day-to-day product feedback. By listening closely to how teams use Upper Hand and where they need more flexibility or efficiency, we were able to prioritize improvements that address real operational challenges. The goal was simple: reduce friction, save time, and help our customers focus more on athletes and less on administrative work.
2025 was a big year across the board:
Behind every number is a business operating more efficiently and delivering a better experience to its community.
Google and iCalendar Integration
Users can seamlessly connect Upper Hand calendars with Google Calendar or iCalendar, making it easier to manage sessions, classes, and events without missed appointments or double booking.
Classes: Waitlist
When classes fill up, opportunities do not have to stop. Waitlists help organizations capture demand and automatically notify clients when spots open, increasing participation and revenue.
User Permissions
Custom access levels allow administrators to control exactly what staff members can see and manage, improving both security and efficiency.
Client Browse Events
Updated event categories make it easier for clients to find, explore, and register for the programs that matter most to them, reducing friction during registration.
View and Edit Registration Field Answers
Registration details can now be viewed and edited directly from event rosters, eliminating the need for spreadsheets and manual workarounds.
Create Custom Registration Fields
Organizations can design registration forms that match their specific needs by collecting only the information that matters to their operations.
Create and Send Invoices
From one-time fees to lump-sum payments, invoicing is now faster and more flexible, allowing businesses to bill clients directly within Upper Hand.
Retail Rebuild
A refreshed retail experience makes it easier to create products, manage inventory, and sell with confidence, both online and on site.
Client Email Preferences: Resubscribe
Staff can quickly check a client’s email status and resubscribe them directly from their profile to ensure important communications are delivered.
Membership Upgrades and Downgrades
Membership changes no longer require manual follow-ups. Administrators can set the rules once and let Upper Hand handle upgrades, downgrades, and transitions automatically.
Customer feedback and the needs of our market will continue to guide what we build next. As we head into 2026, we are focused on deepening the areas that matter most to our customers, refining workflows, and continuing to deliver practical improvements that support long-term growth.
Thank you for trusting Upper Hand to power your business. We are excited for what is ahead and grateful to build it alongside you.
Here’s to an even bigger and better 2026.
