Today marks an exciting milestone for Upper Hand, and for the youth sports community we proudly serve. We are thrilled to announce Upper Hand has been acquired and received a growth investment from H3 Partners, a technology-focused firm founded by experienced SaaS leaders who share our passion for empowering business and transforming the way sports organizations operate.

This partnership represents the start of a bold new chapter for Upper Hand-one focused on growth, innovation, and strengthening the tools that enable coaches, trainers, and facilities to concentrate on what matters most: developing athletes and growing their programs.

Why This Moment Matters

Accelerated by the rise of influence of the athlete within amateur sports, the demand from parents for access to better training & coaching has never been greater. Operators and coaches alike are scrambling to capitalize while seeking to further differentiate their brand in the process.

These operators and coaches need purpose-built software designed to help them run and grow their business. Upper Hand wants to help these business owners marry the joy of helping athletes improve their skills with the validation that comes from running a successful business.

Upper Hand was founded to make that easier with its origins in connecting coaches with athletes. Over the years, we’ve built a platform that simplifies operations and helps thousands of organizations deliver exceptional experiences for athletes and families. Now, with the support of H3 Partners, we’re ready to build on that foundation and accelerate innovation for parents, athletes, coaches and sports facility operators alike.

Who We Are Partnering With

H3 Partners was founded by Brad Wills and Brad Greene, two leaders with decades of experience building and scaling technology companies within the broader youth sports and active lifestyle segments.

Brad Wills, now serving as CEO of Upper Hand, held senior leadership roles at Mindbody and Active Network, where he shaped technology solutions for the wellness and active lifestyle industries.

Brad Greene, Upper Hand’s new COO, brings deep experience in payments and commerce from Hubspot and Mindbody, where he led teams responsible for developing and launching integrated payment platforms used by businesses around the world.

Together, they bring the experience and operational excellence needed to help Upper Hand reach new heights.

What This Means for You

For our customers, this partnership represents an important step forward in strengthening our foundation and deepening our commitment to you. You’ll continue to work with the same team you know and trust, supported by expanded resources and expertise from H3 Partners.

This acquisition and growth investment allows us to deliver powerful new features, strengthen the security and reliability of our platform, and introduce new capabilities that make running your business easier. Our mission remains the same: to help sports facilities, academies, camps & clinics, and trainers & coaches simplify operations, grow their programs, and create exceptional experiences for young athletes.

For our team, this marks the beginning of an exciting growth phase. We’ll continue to build the culture, products, and partnerships that make Upper Hand a trusted name.

Looking Ahead

The youth sports industry is growing quickly, and the need for intuitive, powerful software has never been greater. Together with H3 Partners, we are ready to lead the way forward, helping every trainer, coach, and facility owner focus less on administration and more on inspiration.

We’re incredibly grateful to our customers, partners, and team members who have brought us to this point. The future of your sports technology is bright.
